Traveling Jones

  Amazing day out on the water. We chartered a boat for a half day.  Only caught 2 barracuda (cue the song!) but also saw a school of 5-6 dolphins, a sea snake, and a sea turtle. We also had a small bird land on us and eat out of our hands. Relaxed for the second half of the day at Azure Beach

  Finally experienced the Museum of the Future. Very cool exhibits reminiscent of Disney. We then Ubered off to brunch at Atlantis on the Palm Jumeirah - Gordon Ramsey’s Bread Street Kitchen. Followed by a tour of the aquarium  We ended the afternoon at Wave Warehouse with a pretty good live band  

  Great day of sightseeing, starting with the Miracle Garden and Butterfly Pavilion, then migrating over to the Dubai Frame in the afternoon. The Frame, pictured above, is 492ft tall, the equivalent of 48 floors.  At the top, there is an observation deck with a glass floor.  The view from one side “frames” old Dubai, the other side “frames” new Dubai. You go up in a glass elevator on one side and down the other.
