More Sights . . .

Another day of Dubai sightseeing. Started out with a quick visit at the Mall of the Emirates for some shopping and viewing of the famous Ski Dubai indoor ski slope (below). Above is a scale model of the future Dubai Creek Tower which, when completed later this decade, will boast a height of roughly 1400 meters, over 500 meters taller than the Burj Khalifa. They have already started the foundation of this structure which is estimated to cost $3.67B. It is debatable whether it will be classified as the world’s tallest “building” as it will not be free-standing. However, it will become the world’s tallest manmade structure.

Onward to the Miracle Garden. Gautier is holding a falcon, national bird of the UAE. Falconry is a national passtime of the local royalty.

Finished the day down at Jumeirah Beach for dinner overlooking the light show on the Ain Dubai. Here you can see my sushi “ice cream cone” on display.
